Nazi vs Neo-Nazi
Germans, under the dictatorship of Adolf Hitler, believed their race to be one of Indo-Aryans that was superior to all other races and called themselves Nazis. They treated other races with disdain and contempt and the worst sufferers at the hands of Nazis were the Jews in Europe. Nazism is a philosophy that was specific to Germans as they believed and indulged in acts of barbarism against Jews and other minorities. Of late, there is a tendency similar to this feeling of superiority of white Germans that is being referred to as Neo-Nazism. There are some differences between Nazism and Neo-Nazism, which will be highlighted in this article.
Nazi
Though there are not many survivors of the Holocaust that took place during WW II, the accounts of those alive and those who survived to tell about the insult and inhuman treatment they had to bear at the hands of Germans is enough to send chills down your spine. Germans under Hitler believed themselves to be Nazis, a race superior to others and considered Jews to be carriers of diseases. They tried to wipe out Jews from the face of the earth by moving Jews into ghettos and then exterminating them in concentration camps.
The concept of Nazism was a brainchild of Hitler and Anton Drexler, as Hitler wanted to draw population out of communism and suck them into Nazi nationalism. Jews became innocent targets of the wrath of Nazis but helped Nazis emerge stronger and powerful.
Neo-Nazi
With the defeat of Germany in WW II and suicide by Hitler, an era of hostilities and hatred came to an end with massive destruction in Germany and millions of Jews having been killed by Nazis. With Germany pulverized and reconstruction taking place in the country, many believed that it was the end of Nazism forever. However, the concept or thinking is raising its ugly head in Germany once again in the form of hatred against other communities. There are whites who are spitting venom against blacks and immigrant minorities, as they believe they are responsible for unemployment and slowdown of the economy. These feelings get reflected in hatred against these communities. This attitude and behavior is referred as Neo-Nazism as whites in Germany have this belief of superiority in much the same manner that Nazis had during WW II.
What is the difference between ? •希特勒r wanted to divert the attention of people from communism and popularized Nazism that was liked by the people and brought in a cult of Nazi nationalism. • Neo-Nazism is an off shoot of Nazism though it has nothing to do with the Nazism of WW II. • Neo-Nazism has raised its head because of perceived difficulties faced by whites because of blacks and ethnic minorities. • Nazism was more of a political ideology devised by Hitler to bind the population as he went about his mission of conquering the world.• Neo-Nazism is a belief in racial superiority by young whites in Germany, who believe in the purity of their race in much the same manner as Nazis did during WW II. |
