Dislike vs Hate

The two words, ‘dislike’ and ‘hate’ might appear same in meaning, but not actually so. The word ‘hate’ is used in an intense sense than the word ‘dislike’. Dislike carries with it the sense of aversion. Hate carries with it an extreme hostility. Hate is an emotion; dislike is a feeling.

The two words, ‘dislike’ and ‘hate’ might appear same in meaning, but not actually so. They certainly differ in their sense. Many think that the two words are synonymous but literally speaking they are not so. They might appear to be interchangeable, but would convey altogether a different sense if interchangeable.

The word ‘hate’ is used in an intense sense than the word ‘dislike’. If you dislike somebody, it means that you would not like him. The person whom you dislike can be your own relative or friend for that matter. He can be your brother, friend, father or teacher. On the contrary, if you hate somebody, it means that you would never mind anything happening to him or her. You simply don’t care whatever happens to him, or whether he is alive or dead. You simply would never like to hear of him or her.

因此有大量的t之间的区别wo words. You hate a person when you don’t love him or her. You dislike a person doing some action that you don’t like him to do. Disliking a person is hopeful in purpose, whereas hating a person is hopeless in purpose. You dislike a person but you do not hate that person. You hate a person. There is not chance of admitting him again into your heart.

Dislike carries with it the sense of aversion. Hate carries with it an extreme hostility. You dislike your friend, but hate your enemy. You do not want the end of your friend, but you want the end of your enemy. Hate is often derived from fear or anger. A dislike is a mere disapproval and not more than that.

There is another interesting difference between dislike and hate. You dislike somebody when you don’t like his ways, but you like him in general. You carry spite with you when you hate somebody. You do not like him from the bottom of your heart when you hate him.

Hate is a very strong emotion. Dislike is not an emotion but it is a simple feeling of the mind. Dislike can become a like in due course of time, but hate can never become a dislike or a like in due course of time. You can get over dislike if you try hard over it, but you cannot get over hate however hard you try. This is because of the fact that hate is the result of ignorance too sometimes.

You dislike somebody as a choice. You hate somebody on the basis of animosity or enmity. Hate carries unpleasant memories of the past whereas dislike does not carry with it any unpleasant memory. You dislike non-living things. You dislike bananas. You hate living things. You hate your neighbor. You dislike books. You do not hate them. You dislike getting low marks in math. You do not hate getting low marks in math. Hence it is understood that there is a lot of difference between the two words ‘dislike’ and ‘hate’. Both are not interchangeable.

WE SHOULD NOT HATE ANYONE BECAUSE WE ARE BATTLING ENTITIES NOT HUMAN FLESH, BUT WE HATE THE FACT THAT THE PERSON WHO WRONGED US DIDN’T HAVE THE BRAIN CAPACITY TO FIGHT HIS EMOTIONS. TO FIGHT THE EVIL THAT MAKES THEM DO THE WRONG THING. WHY SO MANY EVIL EXISTS BECAUSE HUMANS ARE TOO WEAK TO FIGHT THEIR URGES TEMPTATIONS THEIR ANGER. SOME FEEL THEY ARE NOT LOVED AND THAT IS THE MAJOR PROBLEM. THAT IS WHERE IT STARTS AND USUALLY FROM A YOUNG AGE. WE BLAME THE PARENTS OR THE GRANDPARENTS OR THE ANCESTORS FOR BRINGING IT ON..
