The extraction of oil can be done in different ways. ‘Cold Pressed,’ ‘unrefined,’ ‘refined,’ ‘virgin,’ ‘organic,’ and ‘raw’ are some terms that describe oil based on the source and the extraction.

What is Cold Pressed Oil?

Col pressed oil is the oil extracted from crushing the seed or nut and forcing out the oil. Cold pressing is a natural method of extraction. Prior to the extraction of oil, the seeds or nuts are cleaned and then dried using sunlight in order to remove moisture. Then they are added to a cylinder containing a rotation screw. The machine crushes the seeds and squeezes oil naturally. Finally, the oil is separated from the pulp naturally using gravity sedimentation and then collected into containers.

The cold pressed method is carried out in temperatures below 50˚ C, usually done at 27˚ C. Since heat is not used in this method, it is a natural method which does not change the composition of the oil. Moreover, the nutritional value of the oil will be retained as it is. The flavour and colour also will be preserved as their original states. Therefore, cold pressed method just uses the pressing of seeds to squeeze oil from them. It does not utilize any chemical or heat.

What is Organic Oil?

有机石油油从种子中提取that were grown in farms maintained without using pesticides or any other toxic or harmful chemicals. Since there is no use of chemicals in the fields, seeds are very safe, and the oil extracted from those seeds are nutritive and safest to consume and use for other purposes.

In order to preserve the nutritional value and the composition, extraction procedure is also a natural method. Most importantly, the extraction process does not involve any external solvent. It can be extracted using cold pressed method. Cold pressed organic oil is the oil that is extracted using the cold pressed method and the seeds collected from the farms grown without the use of chemicals.
