Samsung Galaxy S vs Galaxy Ace – Full Specification Compared

Samsung Galaxy Ace and Galaxy S are two trendy smartphones from Samsung Galaxy family. Galaxy Ace looks like a smaller model of Galaxy S in external appearance but there are glaring differences between both. Galaxy S is already in the global market. Galaxy Ace will be released to the market in Q1, 2011. Galaxy Ace the candy bar with a 3.5” HVGA screen has got 800MHz processor, 5megapixel camera, integrated ThinkFree, an office application that allows viewing, editing and creating office documents. Whereas Galaxy S is more powerful device with 1 GHz processor and large 4” super AMOLED display, 512Mb RAM, 8GB/16GB internal memory, 720p@30fps HD video recording and play, support DivX, XviD and WMV and runs Android 2.1 (Éclair).

Galaxy S

The first Samsung phone to carry a high speed 1 GHz Hummingbird Processor, Galaxy S stands out as an amazing smartphone with many other weird features. Its unique feature is its slim 9.9mm design, 4-inch SUPER AMOLED (Pen Tile) capacitive touch screen display with 480 x 800 pixels and MDNIe (Mobile Digital Natural Image engine). A 5-megapixels camera has some other cool functions like 720 HD video, panorama shots, stop motion, layer reality browser and 1.3 megapixel front facing VGA camera that supports video calling (only for selected versions). Other weird and distinct features are 8GB/16GB internal flash memory, 512 MB RAM, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Blue Tooth 3.0, USB 2.0, DLNA, Radio FM with RDS etc.

Galaxy Ace

Designed keeping in mind the upwardly mobile young executives, Galaxy Ace is a trendy little smartphone which is simple, yet elegant. With a 3.5” HVGA display on a capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 320X480 pixels, it is a compact and handy handset. Despite being small, this smartphone does not lag behind in features and has a fast 800MHz processor, ThinkFree document viewer and Google voice search. It has an impressive storage capacity of 2GB expandable through microSD. Other features include a 5MP camera with LED flash, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, accelerometer, digital compass and proximity sensor.
