Low Beam vs High Beam

Low beam and high beam are the terms used for the different light beams thrown by the headlamps of an automobile on the road and all objects ahead of it. Headlamps are switched on during the night only though they are also on when the weather is inclement to let others know about the presence of the automobile. The two beam positions are different with high beam to be used only sparingly and under restricted conditions whereas low beam is the accepted beam of light thrown by a vehicle. There are differences between low beam and high beam that will be talked about in this article.

Low Beam

This is the light beam thrown by the headlamp of a vehicle that is travelling on the road along with other vehicles. This beam illuminates a small area of the road ahead of the vehicle that is sufficient for the driver to avoid accidents and collision with other automobiles. Low beam is so designed so as to avoid glare in the eyes of those coming from the opposite side and thus avoid accidents.

High Beam

High beam is a beam thrown by the vehicle on the road ahead when the headlamp is switched to the position of High Beam. This is a beam that is sparingly used as when the vehicle is moving on a highway where there are very few other vehicles and the vehicle is moving at a great speed. High beam is able to illuminate a vast stretch of road area ahead making it easy for the driver to see the road ahead clearly and avoid any collision with other automobiles. High beam is not to be used under normal driving conditions.

Low Beam vs High Beam

• High beam is a beam of light thrown by the headlamp on the road ahead that covers a wide range of the road and causes glare in the eyes of those coming from the opposite side.

• Low beam is a type of beam thrown by the headlamp of an automobile that covers a smaller area of the road ahead and is not thrown above a certain height so as to avoid glare in the eyes of those coming from the opposite side.

•在正常驾驶情况下,我只有低梁s to be used by drivers of automobiles at night.

• High beam is used on highways where there are fewer vehicles moving and where the driver is driving the automobile at a great speed.
