Kate Middleton (Catherine Elizabeth Kate Middleton) is Prince William’s fiancée. Wedding ceremony between the Prince and Kate Middleton is to take place on the 29th of April, 2011. Kate Middleton was brought up at Chapel Row, in Bucklebury, England, and got her education from the University of Saint Andrews in Scotland. Here, in year 2001, she met Prince William of Wales with whom she started a romantic relation. The relation suffered a break up in the year 2007, though it was denied from both sides. After spending some time apart, they revived their relation in late 2007. Kate Middleton has attended a number of royal events in the time which she has spent with Prince William and has been appreciated for the sense of fashion which she has. Media has always kept their focus on Kate Middleton since the news of this relation has gone public. There were rumors that they would marry at a later stage and their engagement on November 16th, 2010 confirmed this news. Their engagement took place at Clarence House, and the details of this event were announced a week afterwards.

Diana was the princess of Wales who became a member of Royal Family of Great Britain in the early years of 80’s. She was married to Charles, the Prince of Wales on July 29th, 1981. A large number of people saw the televised marriage ceremony which was shown from the Saint Paul’s Cathedral. It was seen by about 750 million people across the globe. Diana was born in an aristocratic English family. It was the charm and charisma of her personality that have kept the media around her all the time. She was the focus of all the media, whether in the country or outside, photographers was always in a search to capture her in their camera. She was divorced in the month of August 1996 on 28th day. Media kept Diana in focus till she died on 31st August, 1997 in a car accident in Paris. Diana had received media’s attention due to the support which she provided to Ban Landmines. Diana also remained the president of Great Ormond Street Hospital for children from the 1989.

Kate and Diana are very different in terms of their personalities, character, and habits. Kate and William know each other for a very long time which means that Kate will be much better prepared for the royal life once she married William. Kate and William have known each other for a long time as compared to the relation of Diana and Prince Charles. Prince William and Kate have stayed together for eight years approximately while Diana and Prince Charles stayed with each other for only 6 months. Also, Kate will be of 29 years of age while Diana was only 20 years of age when she married. Prince Charles and Diana had an age gap of 12 years while Prince William and Kate are only a couple of months separate from each other. The maturity of Kate at the time of marriage means that she would be much mature as compared to Diana on the day she walks down the aisle. On the basis of education, Diana was not considered as excellent or even an average student in her class, while Kate has a graduate degree in art history though she has yet to make it practical, and obviously after getting married she would not be allowed to have a career.
