Samsung Galaxy R and Galaxy Precedent are two new Android phones from Samsung, expected in the market during August-September 2011. While Galaxy R is a high end phone with 4.19″ super clear LCD display and dualcore processor, Galaxy Precedent is a basic smartphone and priced low to make it affordable. Both the phones run Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).

Galaxy Precedent is available with Straight Talk for $150 without any monthly contract, and a $45 unlimited monthly plan is required. The phone has Swype for text input and pre loaded with Angry Birds.
